Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation collaborated with the Banco de Alimentos Food Bank and the Banco de Acción Solidaria at Mestalla on December 23rd, for the second annual 'Nit Nadalenca.'
Basic and necessary foods have been distributed at Mestalla since mid-2020, and for this occasion traditional Christmas products were also included in the packages. Some 350 families at risk of social exclusion were the recipients of the donations.
The director general of the VCF Foundation, Teo Swee Wei, Valencia CF ambassadors Ricardo Arias and Miguel Ángel Bossio, and the club's chaplain, Mr. Álvaro Almenar, came to Mestalla to help with the distribution of foodstuffs.
This is the second Nit Nadalenca organised at Mestalla. The stadium has also been the base for food distribution throughout the year on designated dates, according to the needs of the Banco de Alimentos Food Bank.
The distribution was attended by Santa Claus and the Valencia CF mascot, with the participation of volunteers from the Banco de Alimentos, the Banco de Acción Solidaria and Obra Social La Caixa.
